Chennai: Tuticarm’s Pandyan has topped the Tamil Nadu Class 12 exam. He scored highest 1187 marks in the plus two examination 2010. The second state topper is Sandya with 1186 marks.
The Tamil Nadu Director of School Education has declared the Class 12th result on Friday.
According to the press release, the overall pass percentage stands at 85.2 percent, three percent higher to last year.
The press release also stated that once again girls performed better than boys in the examination, held in March 2010.
The passing percentage of fairer sex is six percent higher than boys. Total 88 percent girls passed the Class 12the examination 2010 while the pass percentage of boys are at 82 percent.
