Life’s too short to have even just one frown
Why is it that we lose focus?
Why is it that we play life for a hocus pocus?

They teach you from start family is all you got
They say be responsible for your own actions
The bed you make is the bed you lay in
But what I wanna know is when exactly is all this supposed to begin?

Practice what you preach
Come to find out was just a tired ass speech
Live and learn
You don’t do that until you’ve been burned

Well I say out with the old and in with the new
We gonna start this over with a whole new crew
We are not going to criticize our loved ones and put them down
We are going to help them get to better ground

This generation gonna show the last generation what some of them have forgot
Our generation will love and trust one another
And not just sit around and plot
