| "DEAR DAD"- LETTER TO A FATHER FROM HIS DAUGHTER
dear dad,
this letter of mine ,
is to say u the way u make me feel,
since i was born to u till now.... 
i thought u as my hero in my dreams,
i felt u as my saviour from all dangers;
u were my world in our fairyland
u were in my walks holding my hands.....
i took my little steps after u,
i made my mind to grow as u,
u opened my world brightened by ur smiles
u took me to the world of knights.......
my thoughts about u raised day by day,
my days were filled by ur words,
i often said to my friends
"my dad was the best".....
then one day i grew up as a lady,
full of youth and adoloscence within me,
i stepped out of "our" world to the "real" world
and ran with joy to find the unfound......
to my dismay, i dont have words to say,
dear dad-
i knew the truths that i shouldn't have known,
i knew that u were just a man, just another man.....
i knew that u were not a hero,
i knew that u were just a man, another man,
i knew that u were not as brave,
i knew that u were just a man, another man....
dear dad,
i knew that u too had unfilled dreams,
i knew that u too had weakness,
i knew that u too had blemishess....
but dear dad,
i still love u as ur daughter,
i still feel u as my dear dad,
i still feel the same childhood pride....
dear dad,
i love u as ur daughter,

just because of "ur love for ur daughter".
