With the big day fast approaching, Carlo Ancelotti has explained further why he believes Chelsea deserve to be champions.
Having led for the majority of the season, we are now just 90 minutes away from a fourth league title, and our first in four years. It would be a superb achievement for the Italian in his first English campaign.
'It would be a fantastic season if we are able to win the Double in this first season but I want to wait to answer this question!' he smiled.
'Everyone wants to win on Sunday because it is a lot of time that this club didn't win the title, so we will be close and I am sure everyone will do their best.
'I don't want to say it is our destiny, but we did a fantastic job. Until now we deserved to stay in the top of the list, but if we lost the last game after 10 months of a fantastic job it would be a tragedy, a disaster.
'We played with continuity; we don't miss very important games because we played six games against the top four and won all the games. For this we deserve to stay now in the top of the list.'
This season we became the first side ever in Premier League history to defeat each of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United home and away, yet it is a team that defeated us who we must overcome this weekend.
Wigan have little but pride to play for having already secured their safety in the top flight, they will want to end the season on a high and spoil any celebration party at Stamford Bridge.
'I am not nervous, not now, maybe at the start of the game but now there is a lot of time,' Ancelotti said. 'It's not good to be nervous, I am very calm and quiet.
'Wigan is a good team, they have a lot of skills in front, they are quick, they created us a lot of difficulties in the first game, I remember it very well and we have to pay attention, nothing is decided. If you do not prepare well during the game you will not be able to solve your problems.'
