An old lady came to the artfully eructed cave, in the santhome church at chennai, and placed few flowers to Mother Mary and Baby Christ. It was about 6 o'clock in the morning. She sat and started praying. Tears rolled down on her checks.
Baby Christ: Mother, why is this old lady weeping?
Mother Mary: She is praying to get eternal peace at an early date.
Baby Christ: She looks tired of living. She is so much attached to you, mother. Why don't you bless her?
Mother Mary: It all depends on her prayer.
Baby Christ: I do not understand Mother. Tell me clearly.
Mother Mary: You will understand in due course.
After sometime the lady stood up and went to the wall adjoining the road. There a young child suddenly started running across the road to come to the church. Child's mother yelled. The old lady saw a speeding motorcycle towards the child. It may hit the child. The old lady shouted; “Mother, you take me and save the child” and ran out. The lady fell apart by the impact of the motorcycle; but she was holding the child safely in her bosom. The child stood up and began to cry. There was no movement in the old lady's body. She was dead.
Baby Christ: What has happened Mother. Tell me.
Mother Mary: Prayer with sacrifice is always heard.
