Where : In our beloved BTC (Tamilsingers.com )
When : 19th March 2011, Indian Time 7 Pm to 9 Pm
What : A Mega search for “SINGING STAR OF BTC-2011”
Who : Renowned Music Director Mr.Dhina presiding over the final round singing competition.
How : (Rules & Regulations )
a) An Audition will be conducted on 17th & 18th March 2011 at Indian Time 7 Pm to 9 Pm to shortlist final contestants for 19th March 2011.
b) Participants must register themselves by sending a confirmatory mail to any of the below mentioned email ids. Dubaisurya, Karthis, Sakkarai, RaaJJ or Thozhan (provide email ids ) on or before 7pm 18th March.

d) Selection to the final rounds will be based on
1. Song selection - 2 marks
2. Scale or Sruthi – 5 marks
3. Rhythm or Thaalam – 5 marks
4. Feel or Bhaavam – 5 marks
5. Pronunciations – 3 marks
TOTAL – 20 marks
e) Judge’s decision shall be considered finally.
f) Audition rounds to be participated WITHOUT ANY TRACKS OR MUSIC SUPPORT . Only raw voices will be allowed to perform.
g) Participants will be allowed to sing any 1 song of their choice.
h) 2nd chance for singing will be only provided in case of any unforeseen interruption like server disconnect, Mic drop or any other technical hazard.
i) No wild card entries shall be entertained , hence sending participation email becomes mandatory.
j) Only Tamil songs will be allowed for the competition.
k) Final shortlisted singers shall perform only 1 full song before the chief guest, which can be sung along with tracks or music background.
l) Participants who did not get selected for the final round also will be allowed to showcase their talents before the chief guest, however considering the shortage of time, they will be allowed to sing only a portion of a song and not the full song.
m) .All members are requested to co operate with admin, mod and the anchoring team for a grand success of the programme. | |
