<:::::The peaceful life:::::>
Oh life of peace I long for you,
to take my troubles from me.
This angry shell of man i am,
I beg you take it from me.
The stress of life and home and work,
has sought to overtake me.
Nightmares fill my troubled sleep,
and very often wake me.
I wish for quiet solitude,
where soft winds blow across me.
Where no one yells or screams or cries,
and no ones there to boss me.
I love my wife,my kids,and life,
I want never to be without them.
And I'm proud to tell a tale or two,
when someone asks about them.
But life of peace I long for you,
every once in a little while.
I think of quiet fields and streams,
and sigh amid a smile
